Art in the Park
Art in the Park consists of Spirit Tree, a monumental steel light sculpture that faces Vine Street and Falling Leaf, a fountain sculpture surrounded by decorative mounds.
Inspired by Urbana as a Tree City U.S.A., John David Mooney created a permanent public art installation that celebrates the natural environment and provides moments of respite and reflection within the City Building complex. Mr. Mooney has created significant public art works worldwide, notably for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, the Vatican, and the Tribune Tower in Chicago.
