The City of Urbana is transitioning to a new eProcurement system called OpenGov for publishing solicitations, and receiving vendor responses. Register your account early to begin receiving email notifications of bid/RFP postings.  Registration is 100% free for vendors!

3) You will need to sign in to OpenGov to access the bid materials.

 After you register, you can then subscribe to organizations from across the Country – not just Urbana!

Prevailing Wage Act

The Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.) requires contractors or subcontractors to pay prevailing wages to all laborers, workers, and mechanics who perform work on a public works project. The City of Urbana is seeking a pay by cell system that enables parking payments for the City’s on and off-street parking meters via phone, mobile application “app”, and/or text.

Proposals will be accepted at the Public Works Department, 706 South Glover Avenue, Urbana, Illinois, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Proposals will be accepted up to and no later than 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2015.

The City of Urbana is seeking proposals from vendors who will furnish, program and deliver the specified and necessary components for the livescan equipment for the City of Urbana.

Proposals will be received until closing time of 1:00 P.M. (Central Time) on December 9, 2014 at the Urbana Police Department, 400 S. Vine St, Urbana, Illinois. Any proposal received after the closing time will not be considered and will be returned unopened.
