Art at the Square, Monthly Art Workshops at Urbana's Market at the Square, Begin on May 29th

The City of Urbana Public Arts Program will kick off its “Art at the Square” workshop series on Saturday, May 29th from 8:00 am to noon. The public is invited to participate in a collaborative collage project, creating a prairie landscape and wildlife scene using materials such as crepe paper, oil pastels, watercolor, and more.
The City offers art workshops for all ages on the last Saturday of each month during Urbana’s Market at the Square season. The theme for the 2010 Season is “Art and the Environment”.
All workshops are free to the public and take place between 8am – noon. Participants do not need to register. Workshops will take place on the following dates: May 29th, June 26th, July 31st, August 28th, September 25th, and October 30th .
Look for the City of Urbana tent at the Market at the Square on the corner of Vine Street and Illinois Street in Urbana.
This program is part of the Urbana Public Arts Program, providing opportunities for all residents to engage with the arts in its many forms.
