Urbana Welcomes Diversity!

We foster an environment that values and encourages mutual respect, inclusion of all people, and utilizing differences and similarities as an organizational asset. EOE.

We’ve been here since 1874, proudly serving our community every day, 365 days a year (that’s about 50,735 days we’ve been on duty—but with a job this good, who’s counting?). Our department is proud to be diverse in many ways, and those differences help us tackle the unique challenges we face every day.
