Urbana Public Television

Urbana Public Television (UPTV) is the City of Urbana's Public, Education & Government access media center.  Since 1995, UPTV has provided the Urbana-Champaign area with local programming on community issues and events, as well as coverage of the Urbana City Council and Board & Commission meetings.  

UPTV is available locally on Comcast channels 6 & 1096, i3 Broadband channel 552, and AT&T U-Verse channel 99.

UPTV also maintains a YouTube channel, which hosts a number of locally produced programs and past meetings:  https://www.youtube.com/@UPTV6

Become a Member of UPTV!

If you are interested in producing your own video to run on UPTV please read our Policies & Procedures and sign a paper agreement with those Policies.  Hard copies of each are available at the offices of Urbana Public Television at 400 South Vine Street.  If you have any questions please contact UPTV staff directly.

Members of the public may also submit an informational slide to run on our Community Bulletin Board in between programs.  These may be submitted via email to uptv@urbanaillinois.us in either PowerPoint, .jpg or .png format.
