Holiday Tree Collection Schedule
Date: January 2, 2017 - 6:00am to January 13, 2017 - 5:00pm
The City of Urbana will provide holiday tree collection to all residents for two weeks this holiday season on your regular U-Cycle collection day:
- January 2 - 6, 2017
- January 9 - 13, 2017
Residents must follow these requirements:
- Place tree along curb (on the parkway) by 6:00 a.m. on your regular U-Cycle collection day
- Remove all decorations, stands, and all metal from tree before collection. No tinsel or flocked trees
- Remove plastic tree bags
In addition, trees may be taken to the Landscape Recycling Center at 1210 E. University Ave., Urbana, for FREE recycling. The site is open for year-round recycling of yard debris. The LRC can be reached at (217) 344-5323.
