REVOKED: Request for Proposals: Fire Department Vehicle Exhaust Removal System
The City of Urbana is seeking proposals from qualified firms for the design, manufacture, and complete installation of direct capture vehicle exhaust systems at:
- Fire Station #1 (400 South Vine Street)
- Fire Station #2 (2103 Philo Road)
- Fire Station #3 (1407 North Lincoln Avenue) in Urbana, Illinois.
Proposals will be accepted at the Public Works Department, 706 South Glover Avenue, Urbana, Illinois, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Proposals will be accepted up to and no later than 2:30 CST p.m., Tuesday, March 6th, 2018 and at said time shall be opened and read publicly.
The City of Urbana reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and to waive irregularities or technicalities based on the City’s determination of its best interests.
It is the Proposer’s responsibility to visit the sites and become familiar with the project and all instructions prior to submitting a proposal. All questions and communications regarding this RFP must be submitted via email with the subject line “RFP 1718-18” no later than 2:00pm CST Wednesday, February 28th. This will allow issuing of addenda on or before 4:00pm CST Thursday, March 1st.

Substantive verbal questions will not be accepted and will not be answered.
Site visits must be scheduled prior to 4:00pm CST Wednesday, February 21st and completed prior to Friday, February 23rd.
Proposers may be asked to demonstrate qualifications to perform the work specified by submitting detailed evidence such as financial data, previous experience, present commitments, references, and other such data as applicable, and be prepared to submit such data within five (5) days after the proposal opening.
