Traffic Signal Installation – Lincoln Avenue and Green Street (Feb 21-23)

The existing traffic signals at the Lincoln Avenue and Green Street intersection will be removed and new traffic signals will be installed starting 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 21, 2018 through 5:00 p.m., Friday, February 23, 2018.

During the daytime, the intersection will operate as a four-way stop controlled intersection.  Message boards will be installed on northbound and southbound Lincoln Avenue in advance of the intersection alerting motorists of the stop signs.  Delays to motorists on Lincoln Avenue and on Green Street near the intersection can be expected while this work is occurring.  The traffic signals are expected to be operational each evening. Pedestrian access through this location will be maintained at all times.
