2018 Full Depth Concrete Patching Project Lane Closures

The City of Urbana has contracted with Feutz Construction Inc. from Paris, Illinois, to perform pavement repair at various locations. The project award amount of $84,660 is funded with Capital Replacement and Improvement funds.

The proposed improvements are located on:

• Location 1 – Springfield Avenue from Coler Avenue to McCullough Street
• Location 2 – Goodwin Avenue from Stoughton Street to Main Street
• Location 3 – Anderson Street from south of Hawthorne Drive to north of Hawthorne Drive

Weather permitting, work is scheduled to start at Location 1 on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, and end Friday, October 19, 2018, using periodic lane closures. It is the City’s intention to keep Springfield Avenue open to traffic at all times with a minimum of one lane, two-way traffic.

Weather permitting, work is scheduled to start at Location 2 and 3 on Friday, October 19, 2018, and end Wednesday, October 31, 2018, using periodic lane closures. It is the City’s intention to keep Goodwin Avenue and Anderson Street open to thru traffic at all times.
