Communities across central Illinois will have an opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted medications this month. Another National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day will take place on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Report a Crime
Effective January 1, 2019, the Urbana Police Department changed how it takes some crime reports on lower dollar value incidents. Crime reports on these incidents will now be accepted via a web based report form.
This change is intended to make the reporting of incidents more convenient for the reporting person and make more efficient use of our on-duty officers.

The CU Gun Buyback program will take place on August 4, 2012 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District, 201 West Kenyon Road in Champaign.

In recognition of National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, October 29, two local Walgreens stores will collect expired and unwanted over-the-counter and prescription medications. Other medical waste such as sharpes containers or syringes will not be accepted.
Walgreens Locations: 1801 S. Philo Rd., Urbana and 1713 W. Springfield Ave., Champaign.
