Boneyard Creek Improvements - Concept Design -Griggs Street to Broadway Avenue 

Meeting will be held at the Urbana Civic Center located at 108 East Water Street

Join the City's Public Works staff and the design consultant team to review a concept plan for the Boneyard Creek in downtown Urbana.  Illustrations of the proposed improvements will be available for viewing, including proposed changes to the following key features of the Boneyard Creek:

·         Removal of steel channel walls and replacement with a vegetated open channel

·         New bicycle/pedestrian pathways along and across the Boneyard Creek

·         New Race Street bridge (south of Silvercreek)

·         Proposed pedestian access points

·         Race Street streetscape improvements (north of Griggs Street)

·         Public gathering spaces and project focal points
