Urbana-Champaign Sanitary District Open House
Date: October 6, 2012 - 9:00am to 3:00pm
Come out and see the improvemens to the Northeast Wastewater Treatment Facility at 1100 E. University Ave in Urbana.
The open house includes the following:
- TOURS: Learn how we get clean water from sewage. You won’t have to wait. Tours will leave every 10 to 15 minutes.
- TV TRUCK: See what’s inside of a sewer line and how repairs get done without digging!
- Cookies & Drinks: ‘nuff said.
Open House will run, rain or shine. Please dress for the weather! Tours typically involve walking outdoors for about 30 minutes. We will customize them to talk about your interests. Upon request, some special accommodations can be made.
