Champaign Community Coalition - Walk As One Facilitator Tracy Parsons said, “I invite everyone to join us in actively participating in the countywide Day of Forgiveness on December 13th.  The act of forgiving others, or even ourselves, can have a healing power that allows our entire community to focus on reaching new heights of support for collaboration and coordination. I look forward to seeing our diverse community at the screening of this powerful and impactful film and for the insightful and engaging discussions that will follow.”

This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will also be available.

Battle of the Badges

The Urbana Police Department will be competing in The Salvation Army’s Battle of the Badges for the holiday season! Local police department’s will be “Ringing the Bell” to help raise money for the Salvation Army. 

The Urbana Police Department will be participating on Saturday, December 16, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Urbana Schnuck’s.

 

U-Cycle Holiday Schedule

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 23, Thursday U-Cycle route collections will be collected on Friday, November 24; and Friday U-Cycle route collections will be collected on Saturday, November 25.  To ensure collection please set recycling curbside the night before the scheduled collection.  Have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!
