CU Bike Month
Champaign County Bike to Work Day is back on Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 7-10 a.m. across Champaign County! There are a total of 16 welcoming stations in the Champaign County this year, of which eight (8) will be on the UIUC campus. Urbana's station will be at the Busey Bank parking lot on Main Street.

Register for the event at the most convenient location to you and come meet us and other bicyclists in the community to celebrate Bike to Work Day! Grab a snack, get some Bike at Illinois merchandise, get a free T-shirt, and consider making a donation!

U-Cycle Labor Day Holiday Schedule

Due to the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 4, 2023, all U-Cycle route collections will be delayed by one day. For example, the Monday U-Cycle route day will be collected on Tuesday, the Tuesday U-Cycle route day will be collected on Wednesday, and so forth for the remainder of the week. Please continue to set recycling curbside before 7:00 a.m. to ensure collection.

As part of the New American Welcome Center's Welcoming Week, the City of Urbana is proud and excited to have you attend our event where we will host delicious Urbana cuisine from Piato Catering, Bunny's Tavern, La Mixteca, BakeLab, and Siam Terrace. Served on our east lawn, under the ambiance of umbrella tables, we hope to see old and new friends! Come and enjoy Urbana, where ALL are WELCOME!
