Request for Proposals for 2408 N. Cunningham Avenue

NOTICE OF
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The City of Urbana, Champaign County, Illinois (the “City”) intends to acquire title to certain real estate which was the site of the former Hanford Inn located at 2408 N. Cunningham Avenue (U.S. Route 45), Urbana, Illinois (the “Real Estate”).  Once acquired, the City intends to convey title to such Real Estate as a part of the consideration to assume the obligation to completely demolish the existing motel structure located upon the Real Estate and to grade the surface of the resulting lot (collectively, the “Project”).  The Real Estate is located within a tax increment financing redevelopment project area and an additional part of the consideration for such Project is expected to be paid from tax increment financing funds in accordance with a redevelopment agreement.  Any interested developer or redeveloper who desires to submit any alternative proposal or bid for the Project is requested to submit it in writing no later than thirty (30) days from the date of this notice to:
