The City of Urbana Public Arts Commission announces the opening of the 2016 cycle of its Urbana Arts Grants Program to support projects in the arts. The Urbana Arts Grants Program makes funding available to artists, arts organizations, and festival presenters for projects that enrich the lives of Urbana residents and visitors. Eligible disciplines include visual arts, music, performing arts, literary arts, design, multidisciplinary arts, and new media. Recipients of Urbana Arts Grants from subsequent previous cycles are also eligible. Grants will be available in four categories listed below:

The City of Urbana has completed the draft Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) documenting programs and activities undertaken through its federally-funded affordable housing and community development programs during the year ending June 30, 2015. The draft CAPER will be available for public review and comment during the period beginning Wednesday, September 9, 2015 through Thursday, September 24, 2015.
