Young Artist's Studio | Kids Learn to DJ!

Come learn to DJ! Join us for the next VIRTUAL installment of our Young Artist’s Studio with local artist Ja'Naea Modest AKA DJ Silkee, who will introduce our young participants to the world of DJing! We'll explore how to create beats, record, and spin! Each young participant will have a chance to test their DJ skills!

If you are an Urbana Arts Grant applicant proposing a mural, this workshop is for you! Join the Urbana Arts and Culture Coordinator for a workshop outlining specific guidance and considerations for Arts Grant applicants proposing murals. This workshop will include grant application best practices and distinct best practices for mural proposals. This workshop is likely relevant for installation works and other public art proposals. Free and open to the public; all are welcome!

Design your own wellness-themed cross stitch project
Join Lisa Connery from Crass Stitching for a two session class for intermediate cross stitchers. In this class you will learn some pattern-making basics and build your cross stitch skills. And, of course, you'll also get a chance to enjoy the company of other stitchers !

Due to the New Year's Day holiday on January 1, 2021, the Friday U-Cycle route will be collected on Saturday, January 2, 2021.  Please continue to set recycling curbside by 7:00 a.m. to ensure collection.
