Busey’s Hall/Princess Theatre
120 W. Main Street
Busey’s Hall was built in 1870 by brothers Samuel T. and Simeon Busey. Their bank offices were on the main floor, while the second floor had a large hall used for lectures, balls, plays, and concerts. In 1915, it was converted into a movie theater, then transformed into the Princess Theatre in 1934, with a superb Art Deco front. The theatre closed in 1994.
