Reconstruction of Windsor Road from Boulder Drive, just east of Philo Road, to High Cross Road (IL. Rte. 130), is expected to resume, weather permitting, the week of March 29th, 2010. This work will continue through November 2010 with some weather dependent items finished in spring 2011. Motorists are reminded that a new law went into effect January 1st making it illegal to use a cell phone in a CONSTRUCTION ZONE without the use of a hands-free device.

The City will be installing new storm sewer on Illinois Street between Vine Street and Walnut Street. One lane of west bound traffic on Illinois Street will be closed from Thursday March 25, 2010 to Thursday April 1, 2010 weather permitting. Illinois Street will remain open to thru traffic during the storm sewer installation. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
