Battery Recycling Drop-off Locations (Household Quantities Only)

Battery Recycling Requirements  

*EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY:  FOR SAFETY REASONS TERMINAL ENDS ON ALL LITHIUM/LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES MUST BE TAPED BEFORE DEPOSITING INTO BATTERY RECYCLING TUBES*

Certain battery types must have end terminals taped before deposited into the battery recycling collection tube - the battery types that must have terminal ends taped with scotch or electrical tape include 1) all lithium/lithium-ion batteries 2) button cell batteries and 3) rechargeable batteries.  No Exceptions!  Alkaline batteries do not need to be taped. 

Reminder:

• No car or truck batteries accepted
• No batteries Over 5 lbs accepted
• Will not accept batteries from businesses, institutions; residential only
