ANNUAL PERMITS

Annual Day/Night Time Permit - Assigned to a specific vehicle
Valid:  3:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Cost:  $160.00 per year.
Required:  Proof of residency, picture ID and current vehicle registration.

Annual Day Time Only Permit - Assigned to a specific vehicle
Valid:  7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Cost: Free
Required:  Proof of residency, picture ID and current vehicle registration.

RESIDENT AND GUEST TEMPORARY PERMITS

Daily Daytime Resident/Guest Permit Booklets
Valid:  7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Cost:  Free booklet of 20 permits.
Required:  Proof of residency and picture ID.

Daily Day/Night Resident/Guest Permit Booklets
Valid: 3:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Cost:  $8.00 for a booklet of 3 permits.
Required:  Proof of residency and picture ID.
*Available at the Urbana Police Department during non-business hours.

Resident/Guest Temporary Permit
Valid:  3:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Cost:  $3.25 per day.
Required:  Proof of residency, picture ID, vehicle make, model, color and license plate number.
*Available at the Urbana Police Department during non-business hours.

MISCELLANEOUS PERMITS

Resident Construction Permits
Valid:  3:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Cost:  Free
Period:  1 - 30 Days (Renewals available)
Required:  Proof of residency and picture ID.
*Available to resident for property maintenance and improvement projects.

Resident Medical Permits
Valid:  3:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Cost:  Free
Period:  1 - 180 Days (Renewals available)
Required:  Proof of residency and picture ID.
*Available to resident needing medical assistance.

PERMIT WAIVERS

Resident Special Event Waiver
Both residents and landlords can obtain a waiver of the permit requirement for special events, such as meetings, estate sales and garage sales by applying to the City Finance Department for a waiver at least 48 hours in advance of the event. Proof of residency or ownership is required. For questions, please call (217) 384-2346.

ANNUAL SERVICE VEHICLE PERMITS

Annual Landlord Service Vehicle Permit
Valid:  3:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Cost:  Free - Quantity of 1 to 10 permits.
Required:  Proof of property ownership and picture ID.
*Available to landlords for themselves, service personnel and agents in their employment who have bona fide business reasons to park in the zone.

Annual Service Vehicle Permit
Valid:  3:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Cost:  $30.00 per permit.
Required:  Proof of business ownership and picture ID.
*Available to bona fide service type businesses serving residents in the zone.
